This piece came about as I tried to apply 20 identical sports team pins to my canvas. The reflective quality was making it an interesting piece but it became a challenge to maintain this mirrored quality. As I added more and more paint, I had to keep polishing the metal pins. At one point I gave up and painted the whole thing white, and then I had to scrape off all the paint from the metal pins. I'm happy I did it because now, whatever you're wearing, the colour will reflect in this painting and I think that's fun!
