20 x 24 inch (51 x 61 cm) up-cycled mixed media painting, no tax, on canvas with floating frame.

This piece has an underlying texture of feathers, then a layer of chains were glued on top of that and then I added beads during the lengthy painting process. It amazes me that these pieces have a successful end, because sometimes I feel like I'm working blindfolded.

I created this piece close to Easter season and without intention, a resurrection scene emerged. I see the red as the blood of Christ being applied to the earth and because of that blood, many people arise to glory.
