This piece also began with 3D printer rejects from my husband’s electronic radio projects. After the initial ground texture was laid and painted, I added teal, gold, and purple jewellery items, and then some acrylic paint to balance everything out. The story is about a women’s private jewellery collection and how it is built up over the years to become precious, not because of the jewels or the metals but because of the memories it has created.
