A bag of old, black and red, lick ‘n stick letters was the inspiration for this piece. I played a little mental game while creating: There were hundreds of letters but not all the letters of the alphabet were present, so I figured out which letters were missing and tried to make words with those letters… . It could be that they might have been used by the local department of defence - maybe 50 years ago.
